Be aware that this editor manages files by making its own copy of the files into its dedicated folder, instead of editing the files in place. This design would work fine if this editor is used standalone, but it forbids the use of other apps on the same project (for example, a more feature-complete git manager, or a specific language compiler with Termux). This is unfortunate, because the coding experience itself is very nice and close to VSCode, and without ads to boot.

I've been using this app for almost 2years, and the only reason it's not getting a 5 star is because I experience frequent blackout when the codebase gets too large. other than that its great, the plugins are auto installed across several languages. it's the best for the kind of lightweight development you're doing on a phone.

I recommend this editor to all developer who code on mobile. It’s one of the best code editors I’ve found on the Play Store, and you can think of it as the VS Code of mobile. It’s easy to use, mostly ad-free, and even has its own publishing server built in. Of course, it’s not a replacement of Vercel, but it’s a really useful feature for mobile developer. Overall, my experience has been great. I’ve been using SPCK for many months now, and honestly, I can’t imagine switching it form other editor
